Our Mission
The purpose of the Legends Trust Fund is simple: provide deserving students at Greenwood High School (in the Mississippi Delta) with money to further their education. In addition, the Fund feels the responsibility to recognize great Black educators from the past and their contributions to helping students in Greenwood excel and go well beyond what might have been expected of them.

Legendary Black Educators
An integral part of the Legends Trust Fund mission is to honor African American teachers and administrators who gave so much of themselves to make a difference in the lives of their students.
These individuals worked under difficult circumstances, using limited resources, and yet managed to educate future doctors, lawyers, actors, educators and other very successful Greenwood young people.
